Situated in the quiet and tranquil grounds of the Centurion Society of Model Engineers, the Centurion Model Boat Club was originally founded as the Centurion Scale Ship Modellers.
Club members have created a venue unsurpassed by any other in South Africa for model boating encompassing the very essence entertainment where all can socially enjoy the hobby.
As the years passed, innovative ideas about boats and the variety thereof in terms individual members ideas and the facet of boating which stimulated what they personally would prefer changed so as to encompass all scales & types of boats & yachts.
Radio controlled and the extent thereof gives the member an infinite variety of ways to manipulate their vessels on the water.
With today’s available technology High Speed electric boats surpass records set by those previously driven by noisy internal combustion engines.
Submarines always attract interest and mystery of the unknown and unseen.
Members of the club share their interests with others who enquire or just sit back and enjoy the beauty of boats on the water.
The club offers unlimited use of the facilities to members who want to test their latest build or just want to get away from it all for a while.
Members get together on the first Saturday of every month to sail and exchange ideas on topics of interest.
As part of the Centurion Society of Model Engineers we open to the public every third Sunday of the month when all are welcome.

Picnic facilities within the secure grounds in idyllic surrounds could not be better for those who want some time out.
